not sure how to title this one, but story and questions are as follows , my 19 S is doing odd things and the dealer can not find them, says the codes don't show, I did get a picture of the pedestrian warning unavailable service needed the came up on screen.
Twice now my car has flashed collision warning and thrown the brakes on when I was not near a car, once at a red light as we started moving but because I was being a bad driver and admiring a stone wall at a house near by I did not stay with car ahead and he must have been a good15 plus feet away when this happened , second time was getting on an on ramp, car ahead was even further this time and wow its shocking to have the brakes applied , luckily both times no one was right behind me.
So anyway my dealer can not "recreate " and they say there are no fault codes etc, and said the main deletes the codes after about a week? it also will not. open back hatch after I pull in to garage and put it in park and turn engine off , it usually takes 2-3 attempts of course I sat with very nice mechanic and it did not do that in the dealer parking lot!
So frustrating ! I love this car, but worrying about the collision warning is putting me off from driving. They offered that if there is snow, rain, salt etc it can interfere with the system! So are they saying it only behaves optimally in good weather?. Any suggestions? They now want my car for a week to try and see if they can recreate!
collision warning and brake!

You can turn the system off in the PCM, I know that isn’t the solution, but it will stop it happening.

My works van is waaaaay worse since its had a new windscreen, it needs recalibrating really. I've got the settings so it bleeps but doesn't apply the brakes. My work mate almost drove into the back of me the first week I had it when my van slammed its brakes on (and stalled!) cause the car I front slowed down in traffic and I wasn't even that close to the car.
I'd read about an RS6 owner who'd had his brakes come on down a dual carriage way for no reason and almost cause a crash. Pretty sure it happened a few times, the car was rejected, went back to Audi who sold it straight on.
