Hi all,
I have a MY2019 Macan with 14k miles. Owned it for a week today and have noticed that both drivers side door handles do not 'spring back' properly into the closed position. The passenger side is fine and they open and close fine. However, the drivers side doors do not open at first if the handle is already semi-released and you have to give it several tugs to open.
I did inform my dealer about this and they asked for it to be brought back but they only greased the door handles. It hasn't made much difference if I'm honest.
Is this a common fault on the Macan or is mine the only one suffering in silence? Would love to hear from others that have had similar issues.
I'll be contacting the dealer again but unsure if I should ask for them to be fixed or replaced?
Sticky Door Handles
They stick on mine sometimes and there has been another thread on here about others having the same issue.
A week or so ago my other half used the car for the second time since I'd got it about a year and a half ago. Even before she'd started the engine she nervously, and slightly embarrassed, called me up saying she couldn't shut the drivers door! I told her to check the door handle and lo and behold it hadn't sprung back fully.
Some people try a spray of some kind of lubricant but I don't think this issue then goes away for ever.

Mine is in with OPC and the rear door handle sticking is one of the issues for them to look at. The service advisor said they have seen it before and will usually take the handle off, lubricate and put back. If that doesn't sort it I'll be pushing for a new handle.
Thanks for your responses.
I'll contact them tomorrow and see what they can do. I just hope it gets sorted as otherwise it will just continue to bug me.

I have read about some other owners seeing cracks. IIRC it seemed to affect vehicles with keyless entry, however mine has keyless entry and I haven’t spotted any cracks.
You shouldn’t have any trouble getting them replaced considering a quick search should give you evidence that it is an inherent issue experienced by several owners.

My car had the same for a couple of months but I put up with it as it's oil change was coming due. When I booked it in the service guy said he was aware of a "bulletin" on it. It in on 24 Feb and has been fine since. The visit threw up what needs to be a new thread on tyres!
