Thanks for the above. My initial plan was red as partial leather but now considering it as full. My prev turbo was black with black interior and 21” turbo design wheels. Looked good but a fairly dull interior due to it being all black..

My advice is keep a GTS as a GTS, alcantara black seats, GTS wheels. The further you deviate from the normal GTS spec the more it will hurt it come resale if thats something that bothers you.

I’ll be buying outright and unfortunately my budget can’t stretch to a turbo, so the GTS will do.

Is my spec too marmite? Extended red really elevates the interior but not to everyone’s taste..

I don’t really want the pan roof or Bose but I know this helps for resale?

Also I was considering the 21” sport classics wheels but would they feel obliged to add the air suspension.. although as good as air was on my turbo it did feel floaty at times and being a gts chassis the car wouldn’t benefit too much from Air?
IMHO I think it is Marmite 😲 Agree with Rab, keep a GTS as it should be. Don’t change wheels, remove carbon interior and the RaceTex covered wheel can look shabby over time. don’t think BOSE helps value but pan roof does, front seats heated as standard. Here’s my take on your spec which comes in £1k cheaper, so still some room to alter, plus I would push OPC for another £1k contribution for starters 👍

Never understood the attraction of red myself.................................definitely Marmite with that spec. BUT you buy a new car for yourself, not the second owner, right?

Lovely spec, for my two penith, I’ve had four Macan’s and tried various combinations, currently my GTS is the best I’ve had, no air suspension, had it don’t miss it, standard 20” wheels more than happy with the ride and handling, Bose nope, had it don’t miss it, the standard sound system is more than adequate for me. Sunrooof yes I would miss that, I had adaptive cruise control once which is something I would have again, I had the red interior like you have specified, loved it and would definitely have it again it looks great against you colour choice, sports chrono again had it don’t miss it as I never used it, I find the performance of the GTS fine without ,personally I would go for tinted windows as I feel it would really enhance the appearance of the car, what about having the side blades in the same colour as the body and having the GTS badge in Red 🤷‍♂️great spec whatever you decide 👍
Playing with the configuration I like the below

+1 for Mike's spec. I would add the driver memory package. Even if you're the only driver the seat position will be altered every time the car goes in for service and it takes forever to get it just right again.

I keep everything on top of the dash as dark as possible to eliminate reflections so went with partial red, looks great with the Gloss Green Envy exterior.

Specced air with 20" tyres as we live in Essex and the roads are bad. Floats along in standard as i also run the tyre pressures at minimum rec.

The tyres can squeal a bit when cornering with some weight inside.

Best car i've ever had for long journeys; can just about remember our last pre lockdown trip to South of France, hopefully off again in July

Agree with the above. Test drove a GTS with and without air, felt "floaty with" if you like to "press on" ditch the air and save your dosh. Both with 21inch rims.

Any ideas what sort of discount I could push for on a factory order GTS?

21” sport classics in black with volcano is my ideal spec

Air with 21” works really well on my turbo and you can drop the suspension if you want less float

I wouldn’t buy a Macan with red leather or without pan roof
2017 - Macan Turbo, with most of the toys (sold)
2008 - manual 997.1 Turbo (sold)
