I'm sure it will. My car was saying that my oil change was due in Oct 2021, but after doing 140 miles on the weekend, of which one journey was a 100 mile roundtrip, it now says Nov 2021.

An oil change after one year is completely unnecessary. Another reason I won't be buying another Porsche. They tell you when you buy one that a service is every two years. I then complained that mine was telling me I needed a service at one year and was told "That isn't a service Sir, it's just an oil change." What a load of money grubbing BS.
The move towards haptics is another reason. None of us likes the loss of buttons.
Oh and you would also have thought that they would have sorted out the issue with cracking door handles on the easy entry cars. Nope. All four of mine gone at 2000 miles and eight months. Simply not good enough Porsche. I'm back in a Mercedes SL.
An interesting post thank you. My Gen 2 Turbo has just had its Oil changed at my local OPC after 4400 miles and 16 months following the system prompt to do so. I noticed they filled it with Mobil 1 5W-30 although it had had Mobil 1 0W-20 from the factory. Not sure why the change and having looked up in the manual see the Porsche quote either C20 or C30 spec oil. Am unsure of the relative merits of each and what is best to have. Can anyone help ?

The differences are marginal. On cars with a petrol particle filter the C rather than an A atters more than the 20 or the 30

Interesting read, my previous experiences with multiple Mercedes cars over 25 years was always an annual service A or B alternately.
My gen 2 Turbo registered end of October 2019 is telling me oil change July 2021 and maintenance service in October 2021. Mileage only 5600 to date, but when I book it in for July I intend to get the maintenance done as well. The oil on the dipstick looks very clean and at the correct level.
