No dog in the car,no girlfriend, gen 2 gts blasting round Kent's B roads, almost as good as a hot hatch!

Which hot hatches are you comparing to? I had a Gen 1 GTS and while a great car it’s nowhere near as nimble and driveable as a good hot hatch on a twisty country road.

...and that’s why he said “almost”

However, having moved out to the country where the roads are great, but full of undulations and of course hedges and walls...I reckon on some B Roads I can make better progress in my Macan than the Atom, only because of visibility

Before my Macan I had a chipped Golf R....it’s was massively quick on the point and shoot (and stopped really quickly) but again, couldn’t see over the hedges / dykes!

So in conclusion, we all need at least 4 cars :D
Silver Macan SD (Daily)
Italian Racing Red Jaguar FType 5.0 V8 convertible (sunny day fun)
Red/Black Ariel Atom 3 300 (Very sunny day fun)
Silver/Red Mini Coupe JCW (4 curbed alloys - hers!)
Silver Suzuki Jimny (go everywhere fun!)

Like I said "almost " like a hot hatch, it's no civic type R,but for a 2 ton SUV it's bloody good!

This ^^^^^^ :D

How much is too much to lose? If you've a few spare £k that you're not fussed about, just get one bought and drive the life out of it!!
I'm sure you know all about over 1k miles a year and over 3 owners it'll be worth nothing (just going by Pistonheads talk)
