Is my experience with Porsche Assist typical?

I will open a separate post in respect of the problem that necessitated calling Porsche Assist.

My initial call to Porsche Assist was answered promptly and they dispatched an AA breakdown van which arrived on time. Unfortunately the AA Technician was unable to resolve the problem and the vehicle was recovered on an AA flat bed to my local Dealership. So far so good.

Porsche Assist advised that Enterprise would contact me to arrange a replacement vehicle. Enterprise claimed that their process was to drive me their Branch and collect the replacement car from this location. This was not convenient and after escalating the issue to Porsche Assist, Enterprise grudgingly agreed to deliver the replacement vehicle to me. My Dealership advised their understanding of the process was for the replacement vehicle to be delivered to a location that was convenient to me NOT Enterprise.

The replacement vehicle (Mercedes C Class) was eventually delivered, clean but with only a quarter tank of petrol and an empty washer bottle. Not what I would have expected from a mainstream vehicle rental company.

On the advice of my Dealership I will be writing to Porsche GB seeking clarification of the replacement vehicle process.

Thanks SPL. I did not know there was a time limit on the replacement vehicle organised by Porsche Assist.

My Dealership can expect a call from me first thing tomorrow morning. At least this means that hopefully I will not be seen out in public in the Mercedes C Class for much longer!

LOL
Is it a new style C Class?
I like the CLA! A CLA Sportwagen (Just out I think) AMG model would be up my street. But I can't stand that 'stuck on' sat nav screen!

ENTERPRISE eh I had a similar problem when my RRE developed a problem , they advised there was nobody available to deliver the vehicle to the Land Rover dealer I was at. When it did arrive it was on fumes !!! an Automatic Discovery 3 V6 HSE . Never knew when my RRE would be repaired, pain in the A**e trying to guess how much fuel I needed.

Back to PA, i used it in the past when my Boxster main bearing decided to collapse and put oil all over the road.

The hire car was delivered to my work and I had it for about 7 days, I know the current PA states two working days but contact your OPC they should sort it all out for you if the repair is going to take longer.
