I also suspect that if the GTS is going to get the turbo engine as the rumours say with the turbo going, Porsche will take the opportunity to increase the price gap between the S and the GTS never mind the increase for the new model year
I also wonder whether this means they will significantly increase the price of the GTS as well.
Do you think they will launch the facelift with the GTS available straight away?

I doubt that the new Gen 3 ICE will be ready for delivery to UK customers this year.
Traditionally the GTS is 12+ months later than other models too.
That's my feeling as well. In which case im swaying towards getting the current gen GTS next month

how much of this is true I can not swear on it
Oh that's interesting. Are you able to confirm the source of where you heard this?
My OPC contact never had a clue, not sure if he was holding information back or if it was genuine.

When from May 2018 to Dec 2018 we were waiting for the 2019 Model year Gen 2 announcemnt and order books had shut on the model year 2018 cars, I was talking to three different OPC's and there were wide differences re what different salemen knew and not all that some said turned out to be true

another dealers i spoke too today claimed to kniow nothing.
If all the current production delays (3 months) are due to component shortages, then I would be surprised to see the refresh model this year.
Then again, if the current production delays are due to implementation of new refresh models, then I suppose it’s possible.
Current :
2021 Porsche Macan GTS
Previously :
2014 Porsche Boxster S
2017 Jaguar F Type 3.0S
2016 VW Golf R
2017 Audi S4 Avant
2016 Audi S3 Sportback

My OPC believe my car is still on course to be delivered in early July. So much inconsistency.
I’m exactly the same - my S build was originally 1st week in June but slipped by 2 weeks so expecting delivery in July…as of this week, it’s still on track. Maybe I’ll get another call soon to delay…

Thats a good point. Sounds like its the former based on what we see in the news. Also makes sense that any facelift models are probably due for delivery end of this year or early next (based on history)
