Just looking at Porsche Swindon used car section - they normally have in excess of 30 cars for sale - it's currently 15...

...what with slowed delivery of new cars due to various issues and potentially lack of availability of second-hand...must make it tough for the dealers

Crazy for a 4.5 year old car. It was exceptionally low miles and immaculate with £11k + of extras. It was showroom condition also.
It was the right time to let it go as I want to get into a Macan EV in the not too distant future so decided to take the money now at peak before I have to pay to extend warranty etc.
I think the gap between what you get privately and from the trade has narrowed considerably.

Have to say I will miss it as it was a superb car.
Once the EV version is ready I will be back in a Porsche again.
£50k for a 2016 GTS😳😳😳
What on earth will they be retailing that for.
I thought I'd have a look at WBAC for my 2018 GTS and they've quoted £50,400 which is £6k more that they valued it at a year ago so you have done remarkably well. I sold my 718 Boxster a month ago to and OPC for what I thought at the time was stupid money. Just checked that on WBAC and it's now worth £1k more :( Having said that they are asking for more than I paid for it 18 months ago which is just crazy.

A quick look on WBAC and they are offering £2800 less than what I paid 11 months ago for a 4500 mile GTS.

They contacted me a few weeks back offering to buy my Macan (I originally bought it from them). Their sister BMW dealer did the same to my other half for her 5 Series. Sounds like they’re all really struggling for decent cars that would meet approved used spec.

I really don't know what to do with mine, keep or sell. I don't think you can win at the moment because everything else has risen too.

Made the decision to get all the little niggles on it tidied up in the meantime.

The updated offer as I let this one time out has come back at me selling for a £2k profit.

All taken with a pinch of salt of course but what would be interesting would be if I took it in because there is literally nothing wrong with it.

Offered 47k by Porsche.
Offered £52k by specialist dealer.
Sold to best trade bidder WBAC.com for near £54k.
Just seen advertised for £63k (“private sale”).
Crazy market.
Present: Macan S 2019 (PK1QF9N7), Audi Q3 S-line Quattro
Previous: Maserati Ghibli, 944, 911, Cayman, many Benz & BMW coupes. Sahara Beige Capri with brown vinyl roof. And a Renault R4L. (I'd like another).
