But at least that has some logic.

Just sold my 4 1/2 year old S and got a brand new GTS, and as a bonus got a £22 refund from my insurer. About half way through the policy so I guess around £45 cheaper for a year.

PS….Maybe getting a new Turbo would’ve meant a bigger refund!!

Haha….if that’s the case Simon, I might actually get a 911 myself! 🤣

Put down a deposit on a new facelift Macan last week so thought I’d better get some insurance quotes. Best one I got was LV for just under £500. As a new member of the forum I thought I should contact Adrian Flux ‘The Specialists’. Went through my life story over the phone and was told they would get me a great deal. 20 mins later.....£2 grand a year 😳

I’m 57, married, home owner, clean licence, max NCB, 1 no fault claim 3 yrs ago 🤔

LV= became part of the Allianz group last year:

Congrats on your Macan facelift order SB19AV - hope it comes through quickly and the insurance premium is lower when you need it to start 👍

PS….when I was telling Esure an updated life story for my renewal quote I said that main uses would be as a getaway car for the local hoodlums, stock car racing, an entry in the Paris-Dakar rally and, if I had the time, fitting a couple of rockets + trying to jump the Grand Canyon in it later in the year! When he’d stopped laughing the response was “we’ll not add anything for those” 👍. So, could be worth trying them if you’ve not already done so + I might get a quote off Adrian Flux 😉
