Let’s hope the ~£6k price increase is at least partially offset by a better base spec. Looking forward to seeing the new colours.

If Autocar is right then it seems that, as far as the GTS is concerned, the decision on steel versus air has been made for you. Air it is :D

261bhp and more torque for the 2.0L could make it an even more interesting choice.

PS....Caster stands back for an avalanche of comments !! :D

Christ I really hope there's some extra spec rather than it being £1000 per 10bhp extra

If air suspension is made mandatory on a GTS, that will be a backward step, in some people’s eyes...

Maybe but Air been standard on GTS in some markets for a while.

Really until the full details of specs and available options appear across the range in July, not really possible to judge whether any model is now the "sweet spot" of the range.

Probably the earliest ( if ever) I would think about replacing my 2019 "S" is Spring 2023 so I have a fair bit of time to make my mind up. but at present, I am thinking hang on to it longer and going electric when the charging Infrastructure fits my needs

Is it not a bit odd to have 2 facelifts in one generation. It’s really the end of the line for the ICE Macan is it not. This is the last impulse to get ppl to buy one but will quickly get supplanted by the electric version that will have decent headline numbers borrowing 800v tech etc..

Not everybody is eager to leap into the embrionic electric age, I don't consider myself a dinosaur but am seriously contemplating a spell with a GTS before then ......... if any get built!
