I don't like the diamond textured surfaces either and prefer the rear bumper of the existing style. Wheel on the S look great. Interior looks sharp with the haptics, but of course, they are fingerprint-less in the video
Aside from the power bump, I prefer the existing GTS in the looks department. The new S looks like the one to buy from this facelift.

The front is more aggressive looking; the previous one arguably more elegant. The rear is interesting; while I quite like what Porsche is doing, there is quite a lot of fake plastic stuff going on. We're now missing the elegant diffuser from the previous model.
The biggest thing I like is actually the new wheel choices. There are loads of fantastic options in a variety of finishes. I also like that the GTS comes with surface-coated brake discs and red callipers. I fancied these on my older model, however I didn't want white callipers on a GTS.
The new centre console looks more modern and, from what I can see, removes any anxiety over lack of buttons on lesser-equipped models! The instrument dials could do with a refresh though.

If you look closely on the configurator, you’ll see that all models have the diamond surfaces on the front grill and side blades.

Have checked both S and GTS and the GTS shows as smooth. Even in the Standard features list the S says Textured but the GTS doesn't.

No worries. By this time tomorrow we will know every inch of this car!! LOL. Just an aside notice that you can have the sideblades in Gloss Black and also another package which includes the front apron in Black gloss. Personally, that suits me fine... but obviously costs.
