I contacted my OPC yesterday to get an update on my S. It was locked 3 weeks ago and have now been told "they are expecting it to go into production by the end of the week" and still on course for end of October delivery. #fingerscrossed
Ah no! PMS888 looks set to take that honour, and by quite some margin!
You've jinxed me nowOmniCognateSnr wrote: βWed Sep 15, 2021 3:02 pmAh no! PMS888 looks set to take that honour, and by quite some margin!
ah crap, good point. What I meant to say is that we're all hosed and are looking at Sept next year.... at the earliest (are you listening universe?!)PMS888 wrote: βWed Sep 15, 2021 3:18 pmYou've jinxed me nowOmniCognateSnr wrote: βWed Sep 15, 2021 3:02 pmAh no! Have you been warned of any delays due to air suspension - or still expecting your September build to go ahead? (Trying not to jinx you further )PMS888 wrote: βWed Sep 15, 2021 3:18 pmYou've jinxed me nowOmniCognateSnr wrote: βWed Sep 15, 2021 3:02 pmAh no! When I spoke to my OPC, he confirmed the delays were true (due to the flooding in Germany) but it had not affected my build and things were proceeding as planned. In fact my build was supposed to be in late October but it was actually brought forward a few weeks ago so I guess they would only do that if they had all the parts. Air suspension has always been in my build spec.BanZ wrote: βWed Sep 15, 2021 4:16 pmHave you been warned of any delays due to air suspension - or still expecting your September build to go ahead? My OPC said the same thing. Basically if you have ADDED air or PASM then you will likely have a delay. If air or PASm are STANDARD then, in theory, you shouldnβt as they were prioritising cars with standard fitment of air ( or PASM ). Sounds like that may not be entirely correct if you added it and yours is still on time, or early in fact.PMS888 wrote: βWed Sep 15, 2021 5:19 pmWhen I spoke to my OPC, he confirmed the delays were true (due to the flooding in Germany) but it had not affected my build and things were proceeding as planned. Update from OPC.
Base models are being built and will arrive soon. Their demo arrives next week.
They build dates for S models, so you should be ok Omni!!!
GTS won't start being built until the new year but I will be getting the lock down date the end of this year!
Don't know how that compares to what others have heard?

My understanding is that some GTSs will be built/delivered this year to UK customers. This is just another example of BS from OPCs!! Can anyone recommend a good Knitting forum I can join?
