2022 Macan Build Dates
The deposit can vary as well. OPC Bournemouth wanted £5k deposit for a Macan whereas everyone else I spoke to wanted £3k. Bournemouth also couldn’t even arrange a test drive of a Gen 2 Macan with 6 weeks notice and agreeing a date with them …. So not all OPCs are born equal.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 6:37 pm
It varies with OPCs. None of my three new Porsche cars required any interim payment. Just the initial deposit of £3,000/£5,000 and then the final payment on collection.
the standard deposit amount “should” be the same because I believe its published by Porsche and varies only based on the car ( presumably based on value )BanZ wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 10:40 pmThe deposit can vary as well. That was my thought, but that was what I was asked for.OmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 10:45 pmthe standard deposit amount “should” be the same because I believe its published by Porsche and varies only based on the car ( presumably based on value )BanZ wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 10:40 pmThe deposit can vary as well. When I ordered my Gen 2 I offered to pay a larger deposit and OPC Reading said no all we need is £3K.
2021 Turbo (Collected 11/21) | Dolomite Silver | Half Garnet Red Leather | Pano | 18 Way Seats | PASM + Air | PTVP | Sports Chrono | PSP | PSE | 21" 911 Turbo Wheels | Gloss Black Trims | Bose
I'd personally actually be happy to pay a larger deposit/interim payment as I could put it on a credit card and get airmiles, whereas my final payment has to be bank transfer and my OPC dont seem to be budging on this. (I assume they would also accept a big suitcase full of money but havent checked)mueslibrown wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 11:09 pm When I ordered my Gen 2 I offered to pay a larger deposit and OPC Reading said no all we need is £3K.

I put £3k down for the macan GTS gen 3
Also just put £5k down yesterday for a 992 targa 4s
Yep, Credit Cards not allowed. I wanted to use my BA Amex to get air miles but, alas, its a no-nohood69 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 11:50 pmNopeBanZ wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 11:17 pmI'd personally actually be happy to pay a larger deposit/interim payment as I could put it on a credit card and get airmiles, whereas my final payment has to be bank transfer and my OPC dont seem to be budging on this.
