Hi Guys,

I hope you're all well. I've just bought another Macan in my favourite colour, the only thing I don't like is the chrome window surrounds - I really need to change these to black.

Is it possible to buy a black set from Porsche and swap them over?

Also is it possible to change the Porsche and model logo on the back to black?

And the roof rails? lol.

TIA,
Cinders.

Just wrap them in black. Much cheaper and will look good if professionally done.

As above, wrap them. I did it on myself on my last car and it lasted really well.

Are you thinking of doing the tailpipes and wheels as well?

I wouldn't wrap the tail pipes ;)

Sorry for the late reply. I was going to order a set of black chrome tailpipes until I saw the price...

I've found a local chrome plating place, so I'm going to see if they can coat them in black chrome. Has anyone done this before?

There are some interesting chats on the US Macan site re tail pipes, folks have tried all sorts of things to avoid the bonkers OPC charges!!!

I was looking at changing the chrome lettering on my Macan for black but after being quoted £450 by my local OPC I looked for another option.

I ended up using PlastiDip and it worked really well.
