Hey guys,

I am considering moving the Macan GTS on, it’s been great but need something bigger and saloon / estate type. Keeping 911 though.

Needs new pads and discs on rear which I might have to do, was serviced about 8 months ago and has new Michelin’s fitted last year.

Really unsure what to do, had a few hours in a 2 year old Pana Sport Turismo 4, fully loaded and reduced to 70k but didnt do it for me. Have a M5 LCI for 2 days from tomorrow to try, there are some amazing deals.

I am not sure electric is there yet, heard a lot of recalls from Porsche and the price is mad, hard to keep the spec down on a 4S Cross Turismo . I also think the gov will change its tune once realisation kicks in.

Have thought about 550i but residual would be bad, M5 could be a good option and I don’t like the E53 or E63 Any other suggestions? RS6 also into crazy money with no discount

Do I do something now or wait until the spring - take a look at the M3 when launches.

Trade price not what WBAC is, but maybe I need to list privately.

Help / advice required.

Maybe try www.wizzle.co.uk

Quite a few of us have sold successfully - low stress and more than WBAC's best offer for me.

If you need something bigger, am not sure what an M3 or M5 would offer? Are they significantly bigger enough (if at all) to justify the high cost of changing?

Just wondering... ;)

Cheers,
Simon

Would a Cayenne Turbo GT have a big enough cargo capacity? Probably edges out the 3 series 😁

I know you said you want an estate but if you like the Macan and need something bigger, go for a Cayenne.

I've used Wizzle a few times and all very easy, quick and got a great price too.

I've test driven the new M3 and it's very good but it's over priced with a base price of £75k. The depreciation will be a killer too.

The M3 is out - one of my partners had one when he had a fault on his new 8

I didn’t see it but surely it is too small

I drove an M5 and that left me cold and the performance is amusing for a bit but then you have the 911 so surely don’t need anything out and out fast

I can’t explain myself but I think I’d rather a RRS over a cayenne

Any high value Bmw will be a depreciation nightmare unless you can buy one a few months or a year old. Even then they drop like a stone.

Bigger and decent residual, I would be looking at a new Defender and you have the 911 for the fun times.
