Go about half way through and it shows all the different options parked next to each other. Not sure Porsche will invite him back though, especially when you see how he drives the GTS

The S sounded amazing
The GTS was brutal, looks ridiculously fast

Sadly I think the main reason the S sounded especially good was the sports exhaust. £1700 for people outside the car to enjoy was an option too far for me ( somewhat ironically considering the sport exhaust on my current car was about £1950 if I remember correctly)

I do like the sports exhaust, but wouldn’t pay £2K for it either.
Luckily comes with the GTS.

I once owned a base macan with the sports exhaust, bought 6 months old so previous owner specced it. Some say its silly on a base but I tell you what, it defo enhanced the car and made it much more fun

I think all our preferences for options change depending on if we are paying our own money new vs trying to find a second hand option.

Devil’s Advocate here, but given the list price of the GTS, you are actually paying for the sports exhaust. You just don’t have a choice in the matter ;)

That’s true! But like I said I do like it as IMO it really enhances the driving experience having owned Porsches with and without it.

I agree! My Carrera T also came with sports exhaust and I love it. I even chose to make it louder via a few mods From Litchfield Motors 😈

If it was £500 it would probably have optioned it, but not £1700. Not saying that’s massively expensive for what it is, just not worth it to me.

By comparison my Boxster T sports exhaust was pathetic but suspect it was strangled by the GPF. Probably why the sports exhaust on the 718 base and T has now been quietly dropped from its standard spec and not even available as an option.
2021. Macan 2.0 Gentian. 12/21
2019. 718 Boxster T Carrara white.
2018. Macan SD Volcano.
2005. 987.1 Boxster S. Black.
2015 . Macan SD . Agate grey.
2014. Macan SD . Jet black.
2012. 981 Boxster PDK . Agate.
2010. 987.2 Cayman PDK. Aqua.

Make sense, also when you option it you are less likely to get your money back at resale. As opposed to it being a standard feature (like on the GTS)
