My initial preference was Volcano but am drawn towards Dolomite as previous few cars have been darker colour. My only reservation is that if I go for Dolomite then I would spec the body coloured sideblades. Whereas the Standard Black SB's with Volcano don't clash so much IMO.

On the old Gen 2 - personally on a light coloured car if I was speccing body coloured sideblades, I'd prefer not to have any side blades at all just seem unnecessary then but you cant do that ...PorscheMack wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 10:27 am My initial preference was Volcano but am drawn towards Dolomite as previous few cars have been darker colour. Yea it’s grown on me now. I’m currently sat on white but may swap to dolomite. Plenty of time until spec locks so will try and view a white and silver to make the decisionMindthegap wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 8:15 am I’ve ordered Gentian but I have to say, this is swinging me to a potential change of colour. Crayon does look good with the new front. And interestingly, I can see what others are saying now, lighter colours with the black plastic front really do look better than the darker colours.
I liked the sideblades but recently gone off them.
I had both macans next to each other - one with black sideblades and one with painted sideblades.
Painted looked neater and found that it complimented the lines of the car better. Whereas the black made the car look sportier but at the same time cluttered
Matter of personal taste and opinion though

I'm with you on this ... really like the mix of black gloss bits and the lighter colour, I've added gloss black rear diffuser, black tail pipes, plus black handles. All the rest is just too boring -

One concern about painted sideblades is do they look a bit plasticy? Also thought I read somewhere on here that Dolomite had a dark undercoat and therefore would show up chips more than a darker colour

Can’t comment on chips but would imagine it’s the same as all light comments
