Sorry I am not one to self wash and detail my car

Had a leak into our underground car park and water (obv not very clean water) has left marks on the bonnet that a jet wash cannot shift. Local car wash place used a bit of car polish on a small area and they come off.

So need a recommendation of a cheap polish that is not too abrasive to remove the rest. This will be used only once and binned so less than a tenner ideally. Can I just use a micro fibre type cloth rather than one of those foam polish applicators?

Thanks

Auto Glyn Super resin polish, Halfrauds usually stock it. Very easy to use.
Yeah, you can use microfibre cloth to apply and remove if you want. Foam applicators are ok to use though, you can get both pretty cheap if you want.
The Rag company is a great place to get cloths from.

FARCELA G3 PRO is the best scratch/stain remover I have found and is extremely easy to use. It is also available from Halfords.

I had the same problem with an earlier car and Autoglym Super Resin Polish sorted it.

If its easier than Super resin polish it must be good.
SRP is just fantastic at what it does and what's its designed for. Won't give the best finish in the world, but will make slightly swirled paint look pretty impressive.

Thanks all very useful

Went for the kit for £16 which included 325ml of polish. I might do the bonnet and get the bug!

Once you feel how smooth the panel is after using the polish, you'll have the whole car done in a couple of hours
