I think that is incorrect
I'm sure it is £2300 roughly for GTS

Mine is £2,300 also but will ask for a breakdown of this figure when I lock in my spec sometime in 2099 😂

Here's the excerpt from the .gov.uk website for car taxes in 1st year - chopped out the less pollutingg ones

CO2 emissions
226 to 255g/km £1,910
Over 255g/km £2,245

Add in 1st registration fee of £55 gives the £2300 that some are seeing - suggests (at least some) GTS have CO2 figures coming in above 255 when options are taken into account

I will, however, take the gap insurance. As the car will be PCP gap insurance is a must to cover any shortfall if the car gets stolen or broken.
Some insurance policies effectively include this for the first and second years at least (less sure about this being so in case of theft) so check that out, or even change companies to get it. It'll be cheaper than what the dealer charges. I THINK, Aviva had it for a year and Privilege for two.

As an avid configurator user, and someone that has now sold their 911 (taking advantage of the used car prices) I’m now in the hunt for a Gen3 GTS as a family car.

When I started playing around I was around £70k before the £2300 people have mentioned but things are getting out of hand…. www.porsche-code.com/PNAUFF75

My only concern about the car are the PSCB brakes. Anyone have any real knowledge of the longer term wear rate as they’re pricey to replace. I had PCCBs on the 911 and they were still basically brand new after 50k miles.

I look at it as £80k-ish for a sportier Turbo 😉
For which I’ve seen some that are coming up for 2 years old and still being priced at £80k!

Thanks. I wasn't aware of that. I'll check with my insurance company. Even if they don't offer it for free they may be cheaper than Porsche.
