Haven't but I am in 2 minds over getting it. Part of me thinks its a good idea, part of me thinks I don't want my car taken to pieces to have it fitted and an even bigger part of me doesn't think its a good idea recoding how much of a numpty I can be behind the wheel on occasion.PorscheMack wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 3:45 pm Just received a Porsche mail shot advertising a Dash Cam. Unless it's got a rearward facing camera, I wouldn't bother.

I believe, unlike pretty much every other car manufacturer, its only forward facing
The annoying thing is I have ordered the surround view option, so it already has forward and rear facing camera's, so why can't I just use those and write to the SD card you can plug in (presumably the SD card slot is read only)
Yes, I’ve got the mail and no it’s not rearward, very happy with my Garmin unobtrusive 180d pan and easy download to phone when needed. Could buy half a dozen for the price of the Porsche unit

I would have thought for cars that have not yet been built they would add to the Options list rather than making it a Dealer fitted option.

Indeed. However, I’m those cameras easily get dirty or wet and then the image is quite bad
