I googled this and it appears there is a class action lawsuit against Porsche in the US for leaky sunroofs. Its pretty pathetic that Porsche can’t make a roof that doesn’t leak when pretty much every other car manufacturer manages it.
Pan roof was the culprit.

I somehow doubt that Porsche would guarantee that in writing

Two Macans both with panoramic roofs. Never garaged, but never parked under trees. Absolutely no leaks in 4+ yrs.
Use it tilted regularly and often fully open on warm sunny days.

Nice to see a positive comment. I never garage mine, but no trees etc. Wondering what the best stuff is to buy to keep the rubber seal in good condition? any ideas?
Merc A200d - Macan SD - Audi TT - Golf GTD MK8
I have never applied anything to the seals.
With the SD I did ask at the first [2yr] service to check the roof seals and drain tubes - nothing needed doing they said.
I will request the same check when the GTS goes in for its first service next May.

I always treat all the rubber seals on my cars with Gummiphledge at regular intervals.

4 1/2 years Macan owner from new. No leaks. always garaged. I don't think treating the seals will make any difference. Its the drains that needs be clear. The drains are there for when water passes the seal, because it is not a watertight fit. The sunroof is the same as the golf and other VAG cars.
