Actually there's another Post covering this and Admiral appear to be a competitive insurer.SAC1 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 7:52 pmPorscheMack wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 7:07 pm Where you forced into having a Tracker fitted before they insured you?

A lot depends on your Postcode. I asked if a tracker would reduce my premium and the answer was "not where I live, it would be a requirement in some places though".PorscheMack wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 7:07 pm Where you forced into having a Tracker fitted before they insured you?

I was looking to insure with either NFU or LV. As per my previous post, NFU were massively higher than quotes I'd received from LV, so it left me with LV only to consider.
The quotes I received from LV were obtained from comparison sites.
Here is what I received:
1) Compare the Market quoted £487.86
2) Go Compare quoted £426.39
I was set to push the button on Go Compare.
However, I thought I would get a quote direct from the LV website, and they quoted £252.15
This is why it pays to spend a bit of time and shop around.

The Gen 3 models aren’t on the comparison sites, or any other site for that matter though. I just double checked all the usual, including LV and go compare and they don’t have Gen 3’s. I assume you are talking about Gen 2 insurance?Bazza06 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 12:15 pm I was looking to insure with either NFU or LV.
