People tend to pay a bit more attention when its their own money.

When going through the process of obtaining a quote from LV, I noticed that they didn't ask for the vehicle value!
I queried this with them, and they said they would only require this in the event of a claim!

I also asked for the difference in cost if the vehicle did or did not have a tracker.
The difference was pennies!!

They said it helps in processing the claim, but I think you are paying the cost to help them from shelling out.

You obviously live in a good postcode, car is secure, low miles, no accidents or convictions ( maybe just the one SP30 😖)
AND…..your probably “Old‼️
I Know because I have the same LV premium 🙄 but I also have a £20 voucher not for being old but for using Confused 😵‍💫 😉

Yes, definitely your also confused, as you must have meant Year not Month. Unless I’ve got it all wrong and it is Month 😳

I just checked my insurance with Admiral for my GTS (that hasn't even been built yet!!!) and was pleasantly surprised.

Old price £224.31 (annual premium for a 6yo 1.4 petrol Q3) taken out end of June this year.
New price £305.68 if taken out next month.
Price Increase £81.37 for an extra 7 months

:-)

Per MONTH Mike. I'm not "old" (which is no doubt the issue here) and have no points and no accidents with 14 years no claims. A quote over £2.5k is just stupid. I eventually got sorted with NFU for £800. It was a real stressful ball ache to sort this insurance with the cars not being on systems. It shouldnt be this difficult.
