I seldom go below half a tank, although not a great deal of choice at the moment. Local petrol stations are all still empty despite the news keep saying its getting back to normal.

There's North and then there's north if seems, just passed my local ESSO, only unleaded, no Super or but then that's been the case since the E10 formula changed. 😣

bit late to the party here, I used to own a 2018 Macan s diesel, looking at getting another but hoping to go for a GTS only because my diesel wasn't that good on fuel, averaging 30 over the year I owned it, I think the best I got on a trip to London driving like miss daisy was 39mpg, are the diesels actually that bad or could there have been something wrong with mine, seeing you guys averaging high 20s in a gts makes me wonder

This is what my new gen3 S is doing(same engine as gen2 GTS). Not sure many people are really doing high 20s MPG over an extended period. That said your mpg has a lot to do with how hard you accelerate, how much energy you waste braking etc If you want better mpg most people know how to change their driving to do this. The type of driving you do is harder to change though, so if I am around town or go to the shops over a shortish distance I’m more likely to get 17-20mpg due to the start stop nature of the journey.

Makes sense but assume this is still very new and in running in period? I had a BM 435d from new and the first couple of thousand miles was around the 32mpg but as things loosened up it ended up total average of 38mpg. Not sure if same with a petrol engine??

Yes being run in following all the guidelines, so mpg might improve later on - I’ll let you know when I get there. I can currently get 27-29 if I do around an hours drive mostly on the motorway.
