If I put down a deposit today on the Macan EV what (if any) benefits/advantages does it get me?

Only benefit is you might get an early one but not guaranteed as if not a regular of that dealership they might favour repeat customers first. First release of EV version will be Turbo so add about £10k to GTS price plus options. I guess £85k for a decently specd one

I would add another £10K for it being an EV as well. I am expecting EV Turbo Macan reasonable specced to be of the order £95K, base about £65K and S about £80k

Turbo?? . . . . . . . . . surely there are no turbocharges on an electric motor?

Its just a badge, like so many things Porsche related (😊). The Tycan also comes as a Turbo

I thought this was the EV spy shots - the image above looks like the current platform which the Macan EV won’t be built on …

it will be “similar”. If you look at the back the lights are clearly fake and the whole backend has fake panels on it to hide the real shape. I’d be surprised if it didn’t have the same rear lights as every other Porsche

I was looking at the back of a Taycan in a car park earlier today and it was really quite difficult to see the "PORSCHE" in the light bar, certainly doesn't look as good as on a humble Macan.
