Lad at work rang up saying he's hit a deer on the way to work, didn't realise it was stuck perfectly in the grill. He drove 30 minutes with loads of people flashing him and shouting out the window.
Ok, so major missing point. Did the dear survive 🥺

Unfortunately not.
We were expecting some damage to the van and some blood splatter, I don't think I stopped laughing for about 10 minutes when he pulled in the yard with a full animal stuck in there.

If he gets a red deer next time it could end up in the passenger seat next to him!

I collected a Pheasant on my R1 in Oxfordshire at about 70, blood and feathers inside my visor etc. Was in a bit of a rush, so a few side to sides and I carried on to Alton, where my pal couldn't believe what he was seeing. The bird was behind my forks, welded to the radiator, with its head sticking out one side of the fairing and the legs on the other. I didn't even know that it was there! Was a bit of a mess to remove, straight into the fuel station bin.

my brother did the same going round Silverstone on his Aprillia Mille. It went through the fairing and “burst’ on the engine and its innards squirted up the inside of his visor and all over his leathers. When he stopped if was busily baking on the engine, so it smelt like a BBQ and looked like a scene from Carrie.
