I notice that you selected the exterior trim option with gloss black and this is the second one I have seen without the gloss black on the front grill inserts.
According to config these inserts (white on yours) should be black giving a GTS type look - did you query this at all?
Yeah I have noticed this as well. I’ve raised with my SE and expecting a response tomorrow. I was expecting gloss black front mid section too. This looks good as well but I prefer the more “aggressive” look. Will give an update once I’ve heard back.
An update would be great thanks. I also raised with my SE as this is the second one I’ve seen like this but he didn’t know anything about it and I have had to prompt him to ask Porsche GB. 🙄
Not the end of the world as both look good but configurator is pretty specific on the point.
Let’s see what happens - I will post if mine comes up with something first 👍

I was a lucky enough to lock-in the 21” GT Design wheels before they were discontinued on the S models. If anyone is curious on how the extended Bordeaux red leather interior looks, this probably gives an idea. Will get more photos of rear and interior later on!

Looking forward to collection soon!

Looks great! Congrats!

Hope you get it soon!

Look forward to more pics! Include pics of your Dad’s GT3 too, if you like! :)

Update from SE that he chased this up with Porsche. Will let you know once I receive an update. Like yourself I also think both look great on the Macan (personally, the black and white contrast look very good). Anyways, let me know if you hear anything else regarding this 👍🏼 Have you selected the extended trim option as of now?

Great photos and good to see the extended red interior - I've speced that as well!
Maybe a good time to introduce the "D" word to compensate you for your "disappointment", that or get some goodies thrown in or perhaps even extended warranty.

I will spec anyway cos I like the painted rear spoiler but front is nice either way - ideally would like black but won’t lose sleep over it. Still waiting for my SE to come back to me 🙄

This was also in the showroom waiting on some parts apparently. I am starting to really like the RS Spyders. Not so sure about the side steps though.
Ahhh, I'm pretty certain that's my car, @Sweetmeister :-) I'm assuming you were in Wilmslow? I am getting a bit worried about doing my shins in on those running boards but I guess they can be removed if it turns out I can't live with them. I am indeed waiting for parts - a headlight component and the Bose amp for the boot. Next week apparently.

In the showroom!!?

Not sure I’d want my car in there!

Also not sure about removing the boards - that would presumably mean there would be some trim missing

I haven’t spec’d running boards on new Macan S that I ordered but my Q3 has running boards and I nor my family had issues getting our shins or back of the trouser getting dirty getting in and out of the car.

I originally spec’d in our Q3 for my little one at the time, to more easily get in and out of the car. Helps also to reach the roof of the car when washing too.

I think stepping on them getting in and out helps rather than stepping over / around them.

Here are some pics of my Q3 with the running boards from factory.
