I'll add my weight to buying a new S if you can wait and also restrain yourself with the options list. Much better value and you get the car that you want, albeit with a wait. You can see my spec in the configurator which listed for a touch over £53k in June 2020. The arrival of the Gen 3 has seen prices go up, though. Also on top of the list price is a huge amount of car tax.

if you are looking for a return on your money, put it in the bank!!

bear in mind all new cars after September 22 will have a very low speed limiter fitted

Personally I would go for the GTS every time over the S or Turbo

Gen 3 S has more BHP and more performance than the Gen 2 GTS, so that’s just a badge buying exercise. Gen 3 GTS is quite a lot more expensive than a gen 3 S, and you need to put an order in at birth to stand any chance of your grand children getting one.

It’s changed since I bought mine, the point I’m making if you are looking at secondhand around 50k then to me the GTS is the best option, I realise the Turbo is no longer available and the GTS is the Marque, in reality all the power change doesn’t mean to much to me as on Uk roads my GTS has more than enough, still enjoy driving it after nearly 4 years

Sorry, gotcha. Totally agree. On a gen 2 i’d go for the GTS if poss too, not that the gen 2 S isn’t still an excellent car.
