Actually this one doesn't appear to be over priced. Is it?
Yes grossly, checkout the spec its app 10% above list
Really. I would have thought the Met paint, big wheels, Bose, Tinted headlights, 14 way seats etc.. would have made it a mid £60's car from scratch. 🤔
Base S at £53,300 and it wasn’t such a big spec, took it to £60k for the identical new (plus of course OTR to add), a great time to sell. Sold 2 cars 3 months ago with one above and one close to original purchase price, very happy with the prices achieved, but would actually get even more now. Really need your replacement locked in first as many new (if you can get one) cheaper than used.

Hopefully in the meantime Porsche will let me know when my new chariot is likely to arrive. I'll ask Cazoo and Co every 3-4 weeks for valuation and see how it goes 🤞
In exactly the same position. Very frustrating isn't it! Just hoping mine arrives before the bubble bursts.

I’m in the same boat! I have managed to get an agreed sale price for end of December for my X3 M40i from BMW for £39k. However online sites at the moment are offering £40-41k. I wanted to get a guaranteed minimum value so hopefully I’m covered either way the bubble goes!

Funny thing is I paid £40k for it 18 months/14k miles ago!

Just out of interest I updated the WBAC valuation on my E Class coupe this evening. Its been traded in now, but wanted to see if the value was still falling. This week it fell another £500. Thats a £2k fall in October having risen to its peak at the beginning of the month.

I sold my Dec 2019 Boxster T in August and the value remained static on WBAC until about 2 or 3 weeks ago when it fell by £500 and just checked now and it’s fallen by another £2,000. The OPC that bought my car reduced it by £2,000 about 2 weeks ago but still unsold. Just wish my gen 3 Macan would get built.

The press reported a couple of petrol stations were running short on petrol, and we all know how that ended up. So the more of these reports there are the more prices will go up, hopefully.

You make a very good point, us Brits do like a good rumour!! The approach of winter is also likely adding to demand for 4wd SUVs like a Macan.
There was an interesting comment on a podcast recently about the used car market, in normal times there were about 500,000 cars listed on autotrader, this fell to about 350,000 a few months ago, now it’s back to 400,000 but still 20% down on normal times.

this seems quite pricey seeing as the spec isn’t all that high.
