This is a topic I've wondered about alot. I personally have never owned a valuable car before so want advice from existing Macan owners.

Do you typically keep your Macan on the driveway, or do you keep your car behind gates/garage doors etc? Similarly when you are out e.g. going to Tesco do you park your car close to the store or away from other cars?

Have many people had incidents in the past? Do you have extra security devices e.g. Steering wheel lock? ....Any advice appreciated.

When I'm out, I always park away from other cars but that's more to avoid careless door openers rather than because I'm worried about security. My car lives on the driveway because it's too big to fit in the garage. Not that worried about security TBH as I don't have keyless entry on my cars.

My car's coming up for 4 years old, but I'm still a bit precious with it. In supermarkets, I tend to park well away from the entrance, ideally in a "parent and child" space. In multi-storey car parks, I tend to go up to top level where it's quieter. If I need to go somewhere like the GP surgery, I take another car, because the crumblies who park there are inherently careless.

At home, the car is just parked on the drive. No gates. No extra security devices. That's what insurance is for.

I’ve never given it any special attention, so the same as I’ve done with my first car - a corsa

It’s an suv so not had any issues

So you don’t feel your Macan has ever received any undue/unwanted attention?

I know it is a Porsche .......but I don't think that the Macan gets too much unwanted attention.

I do have my Macan locked up in my garage and am still generally quite careful where I park   :D :D

No, people have complimented the car but nothing undue or unwanted.

It’s not a super car so it’s generally doesn’t attract to much needless attention.

Some other cars I’ve owned, I absolutely take more precaution but not with my daily

Sadly, if the scrotes want it they will have it, be it Macan, Tesla or Peugeot. Just enjoy it. I am more bothered by nincompoops in car parks than the nefarious..................
