Does Porsche Tyre and Wheel insurance actually exist? Mid Sussex don’t offer it. Can you buy it on-line?
I can't remember any details about Porsche but even "Audi" insurance is through Premia Solutions. They cover diamond cut wheels too (which were refurbished at Audi bodyshop).
Thanks. Just checked out their website. I’m always twitchy about any company that doesn’t post a phone number anywhere on their website.
I was offered the wheel and tyre cover by my OPC just last week, I’ll dig out the paperwork and see who it’s with etc. :D
Macan S on order in Black. Leather and 21’ GT’s- Cancelled. Coming soon 911 GTS. :D

Thanks. Maybe I should ask someone else at the OPC. I’m waiting on a callback on gap insurance ( so I can compare prices ) so I’ll ask again in that call.

Just quickly looked at the email document he sent me and the cover is provided by Fortegra Europe insurance with the intermediary being Premia solutions, covers 10 puncture repairs over 2/3 years and 5 new tyres. Doesn’t cover chrome or polished finish wheels. So if I go for the non GTS spyder wheels I wouldn’t be covered. It’s not cheap either at £799 which for me would just be for tyre cover.

Thanks for the replies.
The dealer I'm buying from does offer this, but I decided to look at other providers, one of which is Total Loss Gap who quoted £336.19 for 3 years cover for both tyres and alloys, maximum number of 4 claims per year per product.
It includes cover for painted, diamond and laser cut alloys.
Personally, I didn't think this was overly expensive.

As you've specified Surround View (which is excellent), you shouldn't need wheel cover unless you're very careless. As for tyres, I think I've had one puncture in the last 10 years, and it was repairable cheaply. (Cue next puncture happening soon via Sod's Law!).
