Auto finesse are a good brand, used them a lot in the past but just tried other products.
The panel cleanser is to remove any form of product before you're going to apply a Polish, Ceramic coating, graphene coating...... This will give you the best results.
By sealant, I just mean a LSP (last step product), wax, polish....
Autoglym do some good products, (super resin polish is fantastic for its purpose) as do most brands. You'll find what works best for you, I don't use just one brand.
Detailing can cause huge debates, almost as much as brake pads
Keeping her clean! :D

Yeah, I was with you most of the way, definitely use a RaceGlaze water filter. Personally for the pressure washer, expensive but a Kranzle K10/122 will last a lifetime. Then, you said……. “Leaf Blower”Rarecolour wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 9:00 am

I looked at the bigboi, but I have loads of Makita cordless tools so the Cordless leaf blower makes more sense, to me anyway.MikeM wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 9:41 amYeah, I was with you most of the way, definitely use a RaceGlaze water filter. Whatever the pressure washer, stay away from plastic pump bodies.

I've just discovered Optimum No Rinse (ONR) and it is a revelation.
Never like the idea of a rinse less wash before but eager to try something quick over the winter when you don't want to spend hours on the drive in the cold I invested in some (& the 'Big Red Sponge') and I've never been so impressed with a product in my life.
My Cayman is very well protected so expected to work well in conjunction with the protection already on the car but the wifes car is a completely different proposition I don't think she has applied anything to it in after the first few months of ownership although I may have taken pity and washed it once or twice....used the ONR as directed and it has come up amazingly well.
If you get a decent base with a good polish & wax first etc I think most people would be surprised. Mixed up in a sprayer to loosen off any heavy dirt and a 10 gallon bucket with a lid is there ready for whenever its needed. Mix it up in different ratios for different uses wash, clay bar lube, glass, interior all purpose cleaner I've used something like 10 capfuls.
