When I ordered my Macan in mid September the SE offered me the same price as I paid for my 2020 X1 12 months earlier. It was shipped to Bristol and put up for £10k more than they paid me and £500 more than original list.

Two months later and they have slashed the price by £6k. Looks like the high second market is getting back to normality.

Been coming down for over a month now. Fair play to those who managed to cash in when prices were rediculous.

The conditions haven't changed though, might just be the usual market tip towards Christmas? I got out of mine though so I'm not too fussed but I don't think this is the end of it.

Apart from those happy to buy from a laptop screen, who goes looking at cars in December - too cold, wet n windy for most.

I expect there are a few dealers who have overstocked as a result of buying in on a rising market

Probably quite a few of those are part-ex Macans, taken in from those lucky enough to collect their new Macan, or maybe Taycan.

Heard this week that the Taycan now outsells the Macan! :o

Well the SE told me when I picked up my Turbo that they prioritise EVs now over anything else as it counts to the overall Porsche 'carbon footprint' or something like that ... and there are 'incentives' for this as a company ...

Can believe that, they do seem two a penny, nearly as common as Tesla's.

Company cars for employees and bought on company books are really boosting EV sales big time.
