WBAC won't factor in the extras, they value based on standard model spec - i dare say they factor in a little bit for the questions they ask, ie pano roof, leather, nav, headlights, but thats as much for them having saleable cars as it is buying for more

You'd do better with Motorway; carmine red and the lack of pano roof and headlight upgrade might keep the buyers away though - not much you can do about those, the car is was it is.

Nothing but most buyers of luxury cars are probably looking for metallic paint , plus red isn’t generally seen on SUVs.

For some reason Red is not an easy colour to sell. Had loads of folk say my RS6 was amazing, but they couldn't own a red car

But on a Macan red is an expensive extra and looks amazing. I looked long and hard for my red one, after four grey cars it was refreshing.

Obviously I’m biased but there are loads of red cars on the road and I think a red Macan stands out looks truly stunning. You will be noticed though unlike the various invisible greys and silvers. Personal choice of course…

I don’t think it is. At least it wasn’t on my Carmine Red 2017 Panamera 4.

No, Carmine is a gloss non metallic paint the same as Crayon or Miami I think

On Autotrader only 5% of the Macans up for sale are red. Either they are snapped up or rarely specced. I imagine its the latter.

On Cazoo right now there are 33 Macans of which seven are red and five are black..,
Go figure!

Also zero crayon and zero Miami. I think these colours are less specced but not because they don’t look great. I suspect there are literally a thousand reasons that other more sober colours are picked first
