4 year service cost query

My Macan is needing a 4 year major service (even though it has only done 27K miles). The OPC is quoting a total cost £1385 for this service. Is that reasonable? Seems expensive to me.

Check what's included in the quote but it's about the norm for a four year service. Unfortunately, Porsche maintenance costs are not cheap.

Peter, thanks for the quick reply. I am just checking if it is "about the norm" as you say. I guess I will just have t go with it.

The quote includes oil + filter change, pollen filter, water drain maintenance, PDK clutch fluid including filter for transmissionand a brake fluid change.

I didn't think PDK oil change was needed at 4 years.
Macan S collected 4 Dec 2017 - Jet Black, 20" SportDesign, Agate/Pebble, 18-way, Pano roof, Bi-Xenons with PDLS, Surround View, PASM, PS+, spare wheel, towbar.

I paid £1343. The gearbox service is due at 40k miles so you could delay it and spend about half that is quoted

I paid about £570 at a OPC for a 4 year service including brake fluid change.

Shop around for best quotes...I was getting some similar to your quote but they included pdk oil and spark plugs which didn't need doing.

Check in the handbook to see exactly what your car needs at a 4 year service

The 4 year gearbox service is a bit of a mystery. In Spain the recommended gearbox service for the Macan is 6 years not 4 and I believe I am right in saying, the equivalent, perhaps identical, gearbox on the Audi Q5 is again 6 years.

Porsche UK however seem to specify 4 years, why I don't know.

Says 6 years in my handbook
