There's a difference between the Tiguan system and the Macan. In the Tiguan, if you have auto hold on, the engine does not restart after a stop/start shutdown until you press the accelerator. In the Macan, the engine restarts as soon as you ease off on the brake pedal (unless "hold" has engaged on a gradient or because you engaged it by pressing hard on the brake pedal.
My wife had a Tiguan and I had to get used to the differing behaviour of the two cars. Only yesterday, the Tiguan reminded me (during an overtaking manouvre) that it's 185hp down on my Gen 2 Macan GTS . As you have the R version, the difference will not be so dramatic.

Just tug the steering wheel and it'll restart.
Eventually received March 2023.

Useful thanks, will check out that hold function.
The 'R' on the Tiguan means just shiny bits and tech toys. There is nothing to rave about lump-wise - it's engine bay is full to the brim with the mighty 1.5L Turbo for incredible whizzing around experiences!

That's the R Line. The Tiguan R has a similar engine to the Golf R with over 300hp.stimshady wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2023 11:48 am [
