I expect it is something they see from time to time and will just change. My OPC even made up my new number plates FOC 3 months after taking delivery so they’re not all just looking for the next buck.

Must have happened while parked at the golf club this morning (I noticed it when I was coming home, twas v obvious in the bright sunshine) or last night in the pub car park. $64,000 question: HOW?

It's disguised a bit by the PPF.

Discussed it a few years back when mine cracked and was replaced as a goodwill gesture - the linked thread includes useful DIY replacement video: viewtopic.php?t=7747

Just had a phone call from the assessor, saying that the repair @ Chartwell is approved, but a repair not new door, however I am sure from previous jobs that Chartwell have carried it will be good. Also includes re- placement/application of the ceramic coating.

I don’t get this. If a repair is possible then that would mean the metal in the door isn’t stretched. If the metal isn’t stretched then a PDR would be possible. Doesn’t add up.

It just means that PDR is possible and Chartwell will do it this way. However I would rather Chartwell be doing this than some random PDR guy because the finish will be guaranteed to be excellent. Also, presume Toddie not paying for it so all good. 👍

Just so long as the repair doesn’t include the use of filler :(

I didn’t question it, as I believe that Chartwell are the one of the best in the country, in my opinion the metal is stretched as was the opinion of the PDR man who looked @ it. You all seem to be overlooking the use of a door skin, unless you know that Porsche do not supply door skins, I personally have no idea. The other party’s insurance company are footing the bill, & quite frankly I don’t care what it Costs as long as the repair is indiscernible.
