Agate Macan with matching agate wheels - change wheels to volcanic grey?

I've always felt the classic alloys in agate against the agate body colour is a little bland on my Macan and I'm thinking about changing the colour of my 21' alloys to volcanic grey or a darker shade. Has anyone done this? Would appreciate thoughts.

My MY14 SD was Agate Grey and the previous owner had changed the 20" sportdesign alloys to gloss black.

The gloss lasted one drive before dust made them matt - which looked pretty good IMO

I'm powder coating in the near future my diamond cut 21"turbo alloys.
Still unsure what colour.
Maybe shadow chrome to go with agate bodywork.
Black alloys against agate grey (or any darker colour bodywork) tend to make wheels look smaller than they are...

Still unsure what colour.
Maybe shadow chrome to go with agate bodywork.
Black alloys against agate grey (or any darker colour bodywork) tend to make wheels look smaller than they are...

Will be several weeks before they are done as overseas working.
Basically it's a similar finish to what's on some old bmws I'm hoping for......a darker chrome effect which I think will look good with agate.

Did consider Porsche satin platinum but think it's do dark against the agate.

I'd be interested to see the shadow chrome, it sounds great. Would love to see the new look as and when.

Satin platinum + agate not too dark, in my view anyway. Sincere apologies - just couldn't stop myself posting pic
