Did you try Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover? Like you, I find that it’s necessary to physically remove most of the adhesive with plastic tools and even by rolling the glue off with fingers but the tar remover usually works on the final sticky residue.

Humm....check the load rating as my Macan came with N2 tyres that are the wrong load rating and are meant for the Cayenne. I had to go down to N0 to get the correct load rating. Of course things may have changed in the last 20 months.

Autoglym Intensive tar remover didn't work either.

With regard to the N2 tyres, the load rating is correct for my Macan running on 21" rims, they match exactly as the certificate of conformity shows and identical to the N0. They are the later generation of the tyre but as I said perfect for 21" rims, but I can't answer for smaller rims. This is the rear R21 295/35 103 Y

I've found that petrol removes all tar very easily.

And on a 2.0 Macan, it’ll melt the wheels. ;)

What I would like to ask is do I use 95 or 98 Ron petrol to do this job? as using the correctly rated fuel is of course important for your Porsche! ;) ;)
