Hi,
It's fair to say that nearly two years later, I'm still feeling the regret of selling my Gen 1 Macan GTS - I loved that car.
I ended up not getting my Gen 2 GTS that I had on order as I was told immediately after selling my Gen 1 that my Gen 2 had an indefinite delay due to semiconductor shortages.
I've thought about putting down a deposit for a Gen 3 many times, but just not wanted to commit to the kind of wait that would mean.
But then I've now seen that Approved Used prices seem to be coming down such that a one year old Gen 3 GTS is selling for about the price of a new one of the same spec.
My question is whether anyone on the forum has bought an Approved Used GTS and managed to get the price down at all or whether they're generally going for their asking prices (they do seem to sell quickly even for over new price).
Any experiences welcomed as I'm keen to take the short cut to Macan ownership once again!
Many thanks.
Approved Used Prices
2 options order and wait or pay the piper his fee.
Regarding discount on used, don’t ask don’t get. Always worth a shot.

I think it's always worth asking the question on a discount for a used Porsche on the approve website, but from experience don't expect huge sums off the price - maybe 1-2k off and a free mug!

We're right at the end of the month. Tomorrow - suggest finding a couple you like in different dealers (from different groups), calling them to let them know you've found a couple that you like, and will buy whichever is the best value by the end of the day.
Then see what you can get. You'll make more progress if you say what you'll buy at. They don't discount much so maybe ask for £5k off. You won't get it, but if they know you're serious, bidding on more than one, and (if you're lucky) haven't yet hit their target you may get a better than average deal. Best of luck

I might get a free mug, I was lucky getting the car as it was sold then unfortunately for the buyer didn’t pass the financial test. Apparently I was one of 3 interested and probably was first pick being a cash buyer.

Am glad that you got it but finance is one of the biggest money spinners for them.

Someone wealthy once told me that the best way to haggle is to agree to take out the finance in order to get the biggest discount, and then just cancel and pay off the finance in full within the statutory 14 day cooling off period...
