What did you spec and now regret/wouldn’t spec again? What do you wish that you had specced?

Regret:
- Self park (as it doesn't most of the time)
- Red callipers / black wheels (now wish I'd done PCCBs / platinum)
- Roof rails
- Not speccing steering column surround in leather

Pleased with:
- Leather instead of racetex
- Radar cruise
- 18 way seats

Regret speccing carbon instead of staying with the black gloss.
Thought I might have regretted not speccing heated screen but would not have helped once this winter so put to bed now.
Loads of stuff beyond budget that would have been nice to have’s but ultimately not important to me

Can't comment on heated screen as picked it up late March.

Regret not ordering the 75ltr tank

Wished we had not ordered the rear airbags, not used them yet

Regret:
- having standard LED rather than PDLS
- 18 way, they’re fine but the 14 way I had before were more comfortable
- sports exhaust - don’t hear much difference inside car
- apple CarPlay UX is worse than on our Polo (but nothing I can do about that)


Glad I have -
- air, it’s great
- sports Chrono with modeswitch. A gimmick but fun for me
- crayon paint. differentiated
- noise insulating glass - less tiring on motorways (but may be why I can’t hear sports exhaust)

Regret removing the spare wheel from my spec.

Didn’t need the heated front screen over winter so not entirely sure about that yet.

Everything else I’m more than happy with probably thanks to this forum

There were so many individual leather items on the option list, I didn’t spec any beyond the normal extended leather. So this intrigued me - is it the one additional leather item you’ll actually notice or did you spec most of them and miss the steering column?

I really like the projected lights on the floor! Thought it looks very cool when you get in and out
