Thinking about additional storage space options

The Macan isn't exactly stacked with storage space in the front (or so my wife has decided). So i'm looking to installing a storage net and frame with some self tappers to the carpeted bell-housing panel on the passenger side. Thing is, has anyone had the carpet off to see if there are any hidden secrets such as wire loom or similar - before I drill through it?

Just curious, what essentials will be going in there?

Just a quick BUMP to see if anyone has exposed the bell-housing on the passenger and/or drivers side, to know whether there are any wires secreted behind the carpet please?

Storage net looks reasonable.

The passenger should already have lap storage space available for usage.

You could always hide a few things around the spare wheel - or in the cavity the wheel is stored if you don't have one!
