During a regular service at my local OPC (Tonbridge), I received a phone call saying everything was good, but the rear wiper needed replacing and could they do it for me. Just before I said "yes", I asked "how much" and the answer was a staggering £68 - so I said "no" and picked up a Bosch one for just over ten quid.
I am absolutely speechless - what do the rest of you think?

I usually replace wipers and fill the washer fluid before a service and spend the savings on a decent bottle of plonk.

After only 6 months? Are you one of those who we see on a sunny hot day with the rear wiper waving at us?

1. It probably didn’t need replacing.
2. Inclusive of hefty Porsche tax, to help to pay their army of staff and to recover the cost of their multi-million pound premises. Not to mention coffee & pastries.
