Agreed, although I might still take my 911 to the OPC for the MOT, as legally there is a maximum that they can charge!

But many places do MOTs at a discount. That will not be the case at an OPC.

Small price to pay for a coffees, pastries, nice surroundings & maybe a loaner.

Fair comment - probably worth the extra tenner for a look around the cars etc.

When my car went for its 111 point check the OPC made a comment about my brand new Valeo silicone wiper blades and said they should be changed to Porsche branded items. When I challenged this and said the Valeo items are 100% better he let it go, I just wonder how many people fall for this BS.

I don't know about the front blades, they seem fine at the moment, but the rear Porsche one was all split with a very rough edge when I changed it for the Bosch one after just 6 months of ownership.
