Indeed! So what if the same insurer covers your house & your car?!

Admiral insure my 911 and keep offering to insure my property too.

What else could cause a fire that big in an airport car park, with all the firefighting equipment so close at hand?

Apparently this whole multi-storey car park at Luton airport has now collapsed!

I wonder how long before we see an EV fire happen in the channel tunnel.

If the Luton fire turns out to have been caused by an EV it could have massive ramifications for the industry. I can imagine a scenario where car parks start banning EVs, or people start asking neighbours not to park their EV outside their houses etc. The media are going to have a field day and people will feed of it.

I totally agree, let’s hope the casualties are limited to the 5 inhalation cases currently being reported.

Do you think the press would be allowed to state is was an EV that caused this? Bit like the boat. Wasn't an EV mate, nothing to fear. Carry on buying them.

Multi-story carparks need to start banning EV's. Imagine if and multi-story carpark goes up that's also part of a shopping centre !

I guess insurance premiums just went up again this morning too.
