Not had any particular issues with Waze and I do travel around, believe it assists having 4or5G but could be wrong.
As mentioned, this just my opinion and I like the wireless airplay set up I have in my current and previous Porsches.

To digress slightly, I am usually on here singing the praises of, and advocating for the current Porsche Sat Nav, however, I've just come back from Manchester and the damn thing was cluless about the one way system in the city centre! It was an interesting tour as I only recall being in there one before and not driving but I eventually gave up on the destination car park, fortunately finding an on street space (more of them than I'd ever expect these days). Nav got us out and home efficiently though. :D
