More likely that there was no communication between the person who rang you, and the person in the back office who was told a week later by someone else to send an email out, and they just sent it out to all previous customers regardless.

I had a missed call on Monday from the OPC but when I returned it a few hours later nobody knew anything about it and didn't recognise the caller's name, I didn't miss anything important then!

The guy that works in the service dept that looks after will never make the transfer to sales - when he asked what I thought of the 4s I had for 3 days last week I said it was a very good car but still not for me. His response was “don’t blame you !”
