Anyone care to recommend a decent tyre shine product.

Used AutoGlym for years - its cheap. It dries very gloss at first, but after a drive it dulls down slightly where it tends to stay for a few weeks or so.

I've recently got some Autofinesse tyre dressing but not used yet.

No matter what I try I find it splatters even if left 2 days to dry. Using Meguiars at the moment but that's also splattering. Tried a commercial one called Big Shiner and that also splattered.

Gyeon is pretty good for no fling. Give it a wipe with a cloth after it’s been on a little while before you drive.

And key to any tyre shine is to make sure the tyres are well washed and dried before application.

+1 for GTechniq, easy to apply and seems to last well, at least in the Summer

I have used several tyre products in the past Auto Glyn high performance tyre gel is good but only apply liberaly as it will fling if applied to thick. Auto gym instant tyre dressing is good as it isn't a gel but a milky liquid and gives a good quick tyre shine effect especially if 2 coats applied and does go a long way. The other one I use is Simonize back to black tyre shine an auto express winning product very good for a quick application lasts reasonably well but you can soon get through a can as it's an aerosol.

I would never use any Autoglym product, had it applied by the Audi Dealer FOC, it is a dirt magnet.

Gtechniq T2 has worked well for me for seven years, it lasts for months so I usually only apply it twice a year.
