I've had a trawl through the Porsche approved website and the prices dealers are asking for ex-demo and MY23 cars in general show no sign of being affected by high interest rates ,supply or the cost of living. 3-6 month old ex demos are about + £3k on list , late 2022 MY 23 cars are about list and the most overpriced is a March 23 car at Colchester which according to the confuserator is £12k over list. I appreciate that the April price rise contorts the figures somewhat but Macan prices still seem to be holding firm.
Remember these are the OPC retail price and actual value will be some £8k - £10k below this. At least from an OPC.Scooby_Doo wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 10:52 pm I've had a trawl through the Porsche approved website and the prices dealers are asking for ex-demo and MY23 cars in general show no sign of being affected by high interest rates ,supply or the cost of living. 3-6 month old ex demos are about + £3k on list , late 2022 MY 23 cars are about list and the most overpriced is a March 23 car at Colchester which according to the confuserator is £12k over list. Just because that's what they are asking, doesn't mean that's what they sell for.Scooby_Doo wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 10:52 pm I've had a trawl through the Porsche approved website and the prices dealers are asking for ex-demo and MY23 cars in general show no sign of being affected by high interest rates ,supply or the cost of living. 3-6 month old ex demos are about + £3k on list , late 2022 MY 23 cars are about list and the most overpriced is a March 23 car at Colchester which according to the confuserator is £12k over list. Supply and demand will prevail. By the time I have selected just half of my options the count of used Macans drops to zero Gen 3's availableScotMac wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 9:36 amVery true.wab172uk wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2023 9:09 amJust because that's what they are asking, doesn't mean that's what they sell for.Scooby_Doo wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 10:52 pm I've had a trawl through the Porsche approved website and the prices dealers are asking for ex-demo and MY23 cars in general show no sign of being affected by high interest rates ,supply or the cost of living. 3-6 month old ex demos are about + £3k on list , late 2022 MY 23 cars are about list and the most overpriced is a March 23 car at Colchester which according to the confuserator is £12k over list. S&D for sure. I placed an order for a GTS back end of July. All 2023 build slots had been allocated. I'll probably have to wait until early December before getting a 2024 allocation. So it'll probably be well into March/April before my car will be delivered.

Received an email in regards to a 992 GT3 which I momentarily considered buying and part ex’ing my Macan in for at the OPC I purchased it from….
Right up until the offered my £71k on a car that was circa £86k 12 months ago…
So £15k loss and £20k+ overs on a GT3 my thoughts quickly turned to bette ways to waste £35k
