Interesting that the acceleration is not mind-blowing like some EVs, particularly if the figures are for the 600bhp ‘Turbo’ which is the way I read the article.

With less headroom in the back and less boot space there will be a diminishing amount of 'U' to the SUV

Car magazine has six page spread on the Macan EV... lots of words that say so little except they love it. Car loves every Porsche so that no surprise, their front cover tag line predicts it's their car of the year!

all reviews are always good to outstanding or the reporter won't be asked back to check out another car :)

+1

Old fart mode on:

I remember when car tests and reviews gave meaningful comparisons with reasonable balance on the good and the bad.

Nowadays, particularly video reviews, spend the first five minutes talking about minor trim changes and car aesthetics rather than dynamics.

Funny how people are now saying that tyre particulates is a problem, this wasn’t mentioned a few years ago.

Sounds like more fluff from ICE-haters to “justify” their choice. Nobody is being told to justify anything.

Once the tyre problem is fixed, no doubt something else will be invented.

Besides, tyre particulate is a problem with ICE anyway, surely.
